After careful consideration the owners of Cady's Grill & Bar have decided to close their doors and re-evaluate the restaurant's direction according to a recent email sent out by owners Bill and Sandee French.
“We would like to thank our many loyal customers for their patronage these past 15 years,” the email states. “We believe customers are moving away from restaurants with high price points and in the future, 'value restaurants' will become the choice of more and more diners.”
The remodeling will take approximately 30 - 60 days to turn the current space into a “fun, upbeat barbeque restaurant.”
According to the owners, the menu prices of the new restaurant will be lower than Cady's menu. Bob Roberts, general manager of Cady’s, will remain in that position until he transfers to a new Aubree's location in Northville in the summer.
Aubree’s is a pizza chain also owned by Bill and Sandee French.
The owners say they have not decided on a new name yet and are looking for ideas.
