A 36-year-old Plymouth Township man was pronounced dead at the scene of a fatal car crash in Superior Township early this morning.
First responders found a 2007 Cadillac, occupied by the man, had struck a tree. Responders were dispatched at approximately 7:55 a.m. to the single vehicle crash on Plymouth Road near Berry Rd. in Superior Township.
Initial investigations show the Cadillac was traveling west bound on Plymouth Road, west of Berry Rd, when it ran off the north side of the road striking a large tree.
A seat belt was not used. Speed appears to be a factor.
This case is still under investigation by the County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit.
