The mentally disabled Ypsilanti Township man who went missing Tuesday afternoon has been located and is with his family this morning.
Anthony Bruckner, 20, was located by the Van Buren Police Department. According to the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Department, he was found walking in downtown Belleville.
Police sent out a release at midnight Wednesday morning stating Bruckner, who has the intelligence of a 5-year-old, walked away from his residence in the 500 block of Dubie Avenue in Ypsilanti Township around 3:45 p.m. Tuesday.
“He spent the night walking the streets,” Lisa King, of the sheriff’s department said. “He was located unharmed and turned back over to his parents.”
King said people saw the news reports about Bruckner and called 911.
