Ypsilanti Township authorizes litigation against Liberty Square

Sheriff's department releases images

The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Department is searching for an armed robber who made off with more than $300 from a store on the 1300 block of E. Michigan Ave. in Ypsilanti Township.

The incident occurred at approximately 1:30 a.m. Saturday. According to a report from the Sheriff’s office the suspect pulled a handgun out from under his sweatshirt and demanded money after he entered the store and located items to purchase.

The suspect is described as a bald black male wearing a blue pullover with glasses.
