Stolen vehicles, retail fraud, arrests, burglary

Stolen vehicles
A blue 1988 Oldsmobile Delta Royale was reported stolen at approximately at approximately 1 p.m. Thursday, from the 8700 block of Lagoon Drive in Ypsilanti Township. It is believed the car was taken Wednesday evening. Suspects are unknown at this time
A white 2009 Nissan Maxima was reported stolen from a dealership at 7:40 p.m.Thursday. The dealership, on the 3900 block of Jackson Ave in Scio Township, believe the car could have been taken sometime during the preceding week. Suspects are unknown at this time.
Retail Fraud
A 18-year old Ypsilanti Township resident was arrested for retail fraud at approximately 10 p.m. Thursday. The suspect walked into the store, at the 1700 block of Michigan Ave. in Ypsilanti Township, and concealed $11.00 in medication. He was arrested and released at the scene. This investigation will be forwarded to the prosecutor.
Arrests
At approximately 9:15 a.m. Thursday, a Sheriff's Deputy was conducting "proactive patrol" at the 9000 block of Macarthur Blvd, in Superior Township. Contact was made with 26-year-old Theirry Eugene Reynolds who had a domestic assault warrant as well as assault on a police officer warrant for his arrest. He was arrested and transported to the Washtenaw County Jail.
At approximately 6:10 p.m., Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched by 911 to the 2500 block of International Drive, in Ypsilanti Township for a burglary in progress. It was reported that a white male tried to gain entry into the caller’s apartment. Deputies located the subject, 40-year-old Jamie Gilbert, before entry was gained. Gilbert was transported to the County Jail and arraigned on Home Invasion 1st Degree/Person Present Felony Charges. He was remanded to the County Jail with a $10,000 bond. Pre-trial is scheduled for April 1, 2009 at 1:00 p.m..
Burglary
At approximately 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, deputies were dispatched by 911 to the 1100 block of Red leaf Lane, in Ypsilanti Township for a burglary in progress. The burglary was reported by a neighbor who heard glass breaking and called 911. The caller saw three subjects leave the residence carrying a television, heading toward Holmes Elementary School.
Deputies were unable to locate the suspects, who may have gotten into a vehicle. The homeowner was asleep in the back bedroom during the incident. One 47’ Aria flat screen TV was taken. Suspects are unknown at this time.
