Burglary
At approximately 3:00 p.m. Monday, A Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched to the 200 block of Fairhills Drive in Ypsilanti Township for a burglary. Entry was gained through an unlocked garage door.
The home was ransacked and miscellaneous jewelry and coins were taken. Suspects are unknown at this time.
Armed robbery
At approximately 1:20 this morning, Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to International Drive near Golfside in Ypsilanti Township for an armed robbery. It was reported the victim was walking to the gas station, when she was approached by a male demanding all of her money.
A weapon was implied, but not seen according to the report. The suspect left the area with a large amount of cash, and it is believed he got into an unknown vehicle.
No injuries were reported. The suspect is described as a 20-year-old white male, wearing a dark shirt and shorts.
