An Ypsilanti Township woman was attacked earlier this morning when an unknown suspect forced his way into her apartment at the 2600 block of International, in Ypsilanti Township.
At approximately 1:40 a.m. Washtenaw County Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched by 911, to the 2600 block of International for a felonious assault.
The victim said a male, wearing a baseball cap forced his way into the apartment knocking the her to the floor. The suspect cut her several times, and was scared off when she began yelling for help. There was nothing taken from the apartment.
The suspect is unknown at this time.
