21-year-old driver found approximately six hours after incident

A 21-year-old Canton resident was killed in a fatal car crash in Superior Township this morning.
Washtenaw County Sheriff’s deputies, Ypsilanti Township firefighters and Huron Valley Ambulance paramedics responded to the scene, Geddes Road near Ridge Road, at 7:40 a.m. and found the man dead on the scene.
Police believed the incident occurred at approximately 1:30 a.m., which resulted in the vehicle being found in a retention pond in front of the Arbor Woods Manufactured Home Community.
The WCSO is investigating the crash, and anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Robert Losey at 734-973-4791.
