Burglary
A 17-year-old Ypsilanti man was arrested by Washtenaw County Sheriff’s deputies for involvement in a burglary on Tuesday.
At approximately 10 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the 1200 block of Rue Wilette for a suspicious person in the backyard.
It was discovered that a burglary had occurred at the residence and windows were broken out on homes on both sides of the house.
Deputies located the suspect hiding in a boat. He was arrested and is being questioned about the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
Burglary
Nike Air Jordan shoes were stolen from an Ypsilanti Township home on Tuesday.
At approximately 6:20 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the 7600 block of Carlton Street for report of a burglary.
It was discovered entry was gained by throwing a brick through the window.
No suspects are known at this time.
