Sexual assault
The Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office is looking for information on a man regarding a sexual assault that occurred in Ypsilanti Township.
A release sent from the WCSO this afternoon said the man “might go by the name Mario.”
A picture of the man that came attached with the release accompanies this story. No other information was given.

Escape Custody
A 37-year-old woman escaped from custody while being arrested for warrant charges on Thursday.
At approximately 10 a.m. Washtenaw County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 2400 block of East Michigan Ave. in Ypsilanti Township for possible warrant arrests.
Upon arriving they found two suspects who had warrants issued for their arrest.
While attempting to detain a dog inside the apartment, one of the suspects fled.
Deputies located her a short time later and she was transported to the Washtenaw County Jail.
Burglary
Two laptop computers were stolen from an Ypsilanti Township on Thursday.
At approximately 3 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the 2100 block of Lakeview Drive where the burglars had gained entry through the front door.
No suspects are known at this time.

An Xbox video game system was stolen from an Ypsilanti Township home on Thursday.
At approximately 10 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the 700 block of Dorset Ave where the burglars gained entry by kicking in the front door.

A riding lawnmower, push mower, leaf blower and edger were stolen from a Superior Township home sometime over the holiday weekend.
Deputies were dispatched to the 10000 block of Joy Road at approximately 10 a.m. on Monday. Entry was gained through a garage.
