Burglaries, auto thefts in police summary

Burglary
Money was stolen from a car parked near Frog Island Park in Ypsilanti on Sunday.

At approximately 8:45 a.m., Ypsilanti Police responded to a call from a woman who said she was jogging in the park and returned to find a rock had been thrown through her window. Her wallet was taken.

No suspects are known at this time.

Auto theft
A car was stolen from a church parking lot in Ypsilanti on Sunday morning.

According to witnesses, a teenager drove off from the Metropolitan Baptist Church’s parking lot on Hawkins Street with the blue 1995 Saturn at approximately 12:30 p.m.

Witnesses were unable to provide a description.

No suspects are known at this time.

Burglary
Two flat screen televisions, two computers and a video game system were stolen from an Ypsilanti home on Saturday.

Ypsilanti Police responded to the call early Sunday morning and found that someone had gained entry through the rear door.

No suspects are known at this time.

Auto theft
A car was stolen from the 2200 block of Ellsworth Road in Ypsilanti Township early Sunday morning.

Washtenaw County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the call at approximately 2 a.m.

It was reported that a black 1998 Honda Civic had been stolen from the parking lot sometime in the previous two hours.

No suspects are known at this time.

Auto theft
A van was stolen from the 190 block of Spencer Lane in Ypsilanti Township sometime Saturday night.

Washtenaw County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the call at approximately 11 a.m. Sunday morning.

The 2006 Dodge Sprinter van has the words “Try-Hours Expedition” painted on the side.

No suspects are known at this time.

Auto theft
A car was stolen from the 1900 block of Andover Street in Ypsilanti Township on Sunday.

Deputies were dispatched to the scene at approximately 2 p.m. A white 2002 Cadillac Seville was reported stolen.

No suspects are known at this time.
