The 19-year-old Ypsilanti Township resident who escaped from custody last week was arrested in his home this morning.
Robert Taylor Brown fled from the 14B District Court in Ypsilanti Township at approximately 10:30 a.m. Oct. 19 after being sentenced to 93 days for assault and battery.
After 12 days of searching, detectives from the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office responded to Brown’s home on the 1700 block of Lynn Court at 11 a.m., where it had been confirmed Brown was located.
Brown was arrested and transported to the Washtenaw County Jail, where he will be arraigned tomorrow.
