The two remaining suspects wanted by police for their involvement in Saturday's homicide in Superior Township are now in custody.
According to a release issued by the Washtenaw County Sheriff's department this afternoon, both Larry Louis Hunter Jr. and LaShawn Antonio Covington turned themselves into police today at noon.
“Both subjects met Sheriff Clayton and staff on Rawsonville Road near I-94 in Ypsilanti Township,” the release said.
Police have been searching for Hunter and Covington for their connection to the murder of Jamar Gardener on MacArthur Boulevard Saturday. A third suspect, Margret Pittman turned herself into police Tuesday.
All the suspects are now in custody at the Washtenaw County Jail.
Hunter, 27, will be arraigned Friday on charges of open murder and firearm possession. Covington, 18, is also expected to be arraigned tomorrow for assault with a deadly weapon.
Pittman, 35, was arraigned Wednesday on felonious assault charges and issued a $100,000 bond.
