Puppy stolen from local business, burglary

Shoplifting a puppy
A puppy was allegedly stolen from an Ypsilanti Township business Monday.

Washtenaw County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 1200 block of Ecorse Road at 5 p.m., where it had been reported three subjects to look at a puppy.

Police said the three suspects were playing with the puppy outside when they got into a car and drove away.

The puppy reported stolen is a black Australian Sheppard.

The car the suspects drove away in is described as a black Ford Taurus with a damaged rear-end.

All of the suspects are described as African American. Two of the suspects were female and one was male. The male was described as muscular. One of the females was described with braided hair.

Burglary
A 47-inch plasma TV was reported stolen from a Superior Township home Monday.

Deputies responded to the 1900 block of Ridgeview at 7:50 a.m., where it had been discovered entry had been gained by kicking in the front door.

Suspects are unknown at this time.

Burglary
A purse was reported stolen from an Ypsilanti Township home Monday.

Deputies responded to the 500 block of Calder Street at 7 a.m., where it had been discovered entry had been gained through an unlocked door.
