Breaking and entering
An Ypsilanti woman returned home from a funeral a day early on Sunday to find someone had been staying in her house while she was gone.

The victim told Ypsilanti police there was no sign of forced entry but that the back door was unlocked.

Nothing was taken, but someone had eaten her food, slept in her bed and let her cats out.

Stolen laptops
Two laptop computers were stolen out of an unlocked van early Saturday afternoon.

The victim told police he and his wife were inside a doctor’s office on the 100 block of Prospect Road for an hour and a half when the computers, several bags and clothes were
taken from the car.

There were no suspects or witnesses, but surveillance video will be obtained.

Larceny
Two juveniles allegedly stole condoms and hair ties from the Michigan Avenue Walgreen’s at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday.

The manager said he saw the two suspects standing around the stolen items and noticed two packs of condoms and some hair ties were missing after they left.

Police were unable to locate the suspects.
