An Eastern Michigan University student reported she was robbed at gun-point last evening as she was walking on the bike path along Huron River Dr.
The student made the report to the Ypsilanti Police Department this morning. She reported she was approached by four male subjects who surrounded her at approximately 8:30 p.m. near the entrance to Green Lot 1.
"One subject placed what the victim believes was a gun in her back," according to a timely warning sent out by the EMU. "The remaining males went through her pockets taking cash, cigarettes and a cell phone."
The suspects are said to have fled eastbound toward LeForge Rd. The victim was not injured.
