The Ypsilanti Citizen is an Internet-based news site serving the Ypsilanti community, thus traditional paper deliveries are not in our business model. There are several alternative subscription options for our readers.

Content on the Ypsilanti Citizen is freely accessible to all visitors. In the absence of subscription revenue traditional newspapers receive, the Citizen offers a tip jar in addition to our base revenue model, which is local advertising.
Money received from readers is not tax deductible, as the Citizen is not a non-profit organization. For payments received from individuals of more than $50, the Citizen will publish the names of community sponsors on this page quarterly.
The Citizen upholds the right to refuse payments at its discretion. In a similar vain, payments received by the Citizen will in no way influence editorial content on the site.
