The Washtenaw County Sheriff Office will host a community forum at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Ypsilanti Township Community Center at 2025 East Clark Road.
Community Engagement Director Derrick Jackson for the WCSO said the forums are a chance for community members to ask questions, share concerns and find out more about law enforcement in the county.
A similar forum was held at the Ypsilanti District Library two weeks ago, Jackson said, and was very well attended. A number of recent break-ins in the area are causing some people to become concerned, he said, and these forums can help the Sheriff office and community members work together.
