Driving under influence
A 31-year-old Ypsilanti Township resident was arrested Wednesday for operating her vehicle under the influence of expected intoxicants.
Washtenaw County Sheriff's deputies responded to a traffic crash at 9:40 p.m. on Washtenaw Avenue, near Kewanee Street, in Ypsilanti Township.
At the scene, deputies discovered the driver of the vehicle was under the influence. The suspect was arrested and transported to the Washtenaw County Jail.
A report will be forwarded to the prosecutor.
Larceny from auto
A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a parked car in Superior Township Wednesday.
Deputies responded to the 500 block of Huron River Drive at 1:30 p.m., where it was reported the part had been taken during the day.
No suspects are known at this time, though the investigation is on-going.
Burglary
Multiple coins, one desk-top CD player, two rings, three gold necklaces and one digital camera were reported stolen from an Ypsilanti Township home Wednesday.
Deputies responded to the 200 block of Kirk Street at 1:30 p.m., where it was discovered entry had been made through the sun-room.
